Marijuana is just another recreational substance in Colorado these days but some people are all shook up about seeing it emblazoned across the chest of Disney sweetheart Vanessa Hudgens.
Disney might be a little miffed, too: The cropped white tank-top the star of High School Musical was wearing while jogging in Hollywood on Wednesday had a marijuana leaf and the word "Dank" (a type of pot) in green across the front. Except the D was in the distinctive Disney logo.
Oops.
"Screw Disney I'm pushing pot now!" screamed the headline today on TMZ, which ran the paparazzi shots, as did London's Daily Mail. "Disney won't be happy!" mocked the Mail.
"It's sort of amazing ... another Disney star turning on the mouse," TMZ snarked. "It sort of gives new meaning to 'High School Musical.' "
If wearing this shirt while working out means Hudgens, 25, is now pro-pot, then she joins growing multitudes in the USA for whom "reefer madness" is no longer a persuasive concept. Especially now that an entire state has legalized the sale of marijuana for recreational use.
Or, it's always possible she just liked the shirt. On Twitter, people responding to the pictures TMZ posted seemed to be more interested in how hot Hudgens looked rather than shocked — shocked! — about pot.
On the other hand, Disney might want to know who ripped off their brand to make the shirt, but it's probably not Hudgens.
