Former USC RB Marc Tyler: Barkley 'not that good'

9:55 PM EDT November 3. 2012 - Former Southern California running back Marc Tyler logged on to his Twitter account to weigh in on current USC quarterback Matt Barkley. That you're reading this can only mean that Tyler did not have nice things to say about his former teammate. No, he certainly did not.

NIGHTMARE: The worst - case scenario for the  BCS

Tyler, who went undrafted in April and is a free agent, said on his Twitter account:

"Barkley is not that good sorry sc fans"

Tyler's ensuing Tweets said the following:

"I love usc and matt but we should be kicking ass!!!!!"

"You guys are mad at me im a ride or die usc fan ill fight over this [expletive] i love usc so shutup and #fighton"

Tyler was a former five-star running back who never approached his ballyhooed recruiting hype. He was suspended for a game as a senior and served in a backup role.

The regular season, which is about to enter its final month, will end in one of three ways.

The first is the way we all dream about: with only two undefeated teams left standing. Whether it's Alabama and Oregon, Alabama and Notre Dame, Oregon and Kansas State or another permutation, having only two undefeated teams remaining come the end of the regular season sets up an argument-free national championship game.

The second is the way we've become accustomed to seeing: with three or more undefeated teams left standing. Based on how each team has fared and what each has left to go in November, it's not out of the realm of possibility that all four of the Tide, Ducks, Irish and Wildcats end the year at either 12-0 or 13-0.
